Kizaru’s speed is just utterly broken. And tbh hard to write.

Perception blitzing a gorosei and half a yonko crew while rattled is crazy.

If Kizaru wants he can never loose any fight just by zooming away.
I've been telling people this for years, it's the reason why he is ALWAYS unbothered. Oda isn't dumb it goes hand in hand with his demeanor. Even when it comes to potentially meeting 2 Yonkou, no one can actually threaten his life.

He will always dictate the pace of his fights, and as long as he wills it can get out of any situation without a loss. Kizaru has what you call an imperturbable individual, because he knows he is always safe from any real harm.

Akainu has the best argument for top 1 among any current One Piece character, between hype, status, feats, portrayal, and relevancy. He has the healthiest mix of everything.

However, ability wise, Oda created an unbeatable character in Kizaru, no one is beating a bloodlusted Kizaru other than someone with very specific counters. Not sure if it was intentional though, but it is what it is.
Even if Kizaru ability wise is unbeatable, it doesn't mean he beats everyone. Akainu specifically being resistant to Kizaru's heat, which is what is what makes him lethal. If Akainu can't put Kizaru down because he can create distance, then Kizaru can't put down Akainu too
I think Fujitora can also perform extremely well against Kizaru, we are talking about a blind man competing equally with actual monsters, his CoO has to be otherworldly. Gravity defense would perform well against the light fruit too, against most fruits even.
