Why is this even a debate? Just reference the source material when discussing something, why can't yall just wait for shit to happen in the manga instead of trying to take feats that are only shown in the anime when its obvious the anime has wonky and odd fillers that add nothing to the story? It doesn't matter if Oda approves of the things they do in the anime, he's already said he views the manga and anime differently in the first place, so he can do his own stuff and the anime guys don't stress whether what they do is consistent with the manga or not.
