Aqua is at an observatory on a hillside by the sea. A murder of crows fly by, and the mysterious girl appears. "Hey Aqua what are you thinking about? Your sister? Your ex? Or the girl who's in love with you?" "No way, or are you thinking about your mother? Who's watching over you in the sky?" Aqua got mad and lashed out at her. "Get the fuck off, stop spouting bullshit." Crow girl felt wrongly accused. With her hands behind her back said: "Why do you hate me so much? Did I not tell you that you mom is gone?" "Have you not been lying to yourself about your mother? That she's been reincarnated just like you guys and is now living a good life?" "I'm telling you, her souls are scattered. She's dead. Do you understand?" Aqua turns his head furiously towards her and said: "Did you say the same thing to Ruby?" Crow girl's not afraid. "Why are you so mad? I did not have to tell her this, she will complete her mission on her own just fine." "On the contrast you're the one who should be reflecting on yourself. Think about what have you done in this reincarnation. And your purpose in this life." "I don't need you to tell me that. I have only one mission!", retorted Aqua. (Camera change) Pre-production of the movie is almost complete. Ruby and Kana are practicing their lines. Especially Ruby, she's been practicing all day all night with no rest at all. Kana couldn't say anything to her (TL note: to get some rest probably) after reading the script, she understood there's nothing that can be said to Ruby to stop her from being so desperate. All Kana can do is to give her some advice occasionally. On the other side, Kaburagi got them an advertising agency to buff Ruby. And that advertiser is Ruby/Sarina's mother from her previous life. ED note "Ruby's previous life... Sarina Tendoji........." Next time: How does Ruby feel about her mother?

Hi, everyone.

I would like to announce that I started reading Oshi No Ko a few days ago (Ah… I got too impatient to wait for the anime to finish. (゜▽゜;)) and I am now on Chapter 50!

I’m really enjoying it so far, and I hope to catch up so that I can discuss the latest chapters with you all soon. I don’t know anything about what happens after where I’m at, so I will stay away from this thread for the most part until I am at a certain point.

See you then! :smoothy:

ch 119 spoilers

Kaburagi, Gotanda and Tendoji are out socializing over drinks with a few girls on the side, with Gotanda getting wasted and Aqua coming over to pick him up. Aqua has a few words with Tendoji and immediately realizes who she is, upon which he asks her if her family's fine with her getting around like this. Tendoji laughs and says she'll be fine as nobody cares about her and that she'd been doing this for years at this point. Remembering how much Sarina cared about her mother, he presses her with a dark look on his face, saying that there must be at least someone out there who cares for her. Tendoji thinks to herself for a bit before she responds by showing him a photo of her 54th birthday, which reveals that she has two other sons and a daughter whom she is evidently close to. There's a quote on the wall warning her to take it easy on the drinking and eating out. Tendoji adds that kids will be just fine as long as they're healthy. Aqua thinks to himself that it must've been a hellish experience for Sarina to have a mom like this as his pupils dilate. Ruby is working on the part of the script where Ai is abandoned by her mother. Kana realizes something is off and comments on her performance. Kana makes it clear that this part of the script is where Ai realizes that her mother abandoned her because she did not love her and saw her as nothing more than a burden. Ruby is making the performance come off as being too bitter and resentful for an event that is considered to a form of release for both Ai and Ai's mother. Ruby objects to this and refuses to believe a mother would not love her own child. Ruby's eyes are pretty much dead at this point with no light in them at all

Not really filler,
this is most likely to build up the revelation of Ruby-Sarina(reminder that in the interview Ruby says Aqua is the most important person in her life but currently their relationship is not that great so something has to happen and this must be what's going to happen)

I wonder if this reveal will be good for Aqua or worse... I don't think it can be worse but I also don't think he will stop just because of this

Well it looks like I finally have a character to truly hate, although I still don't want to jump to conclusions.

All I'm going to say is that when it comes to being a mom, these two are the best.
I would also like to not jump into conclusions without having the backgrounds but I'm pretty sure she is a bitch and it's nothing new:

- We got a mini flashback with Gorou(Aqua's past life) in the hospital(when Aqua and co. went back to that town) and in that flashback Gorou was discussing with the receptionist and a doctor why Sarina(Ruby's past life)'s parents aren't coming when their daughter is dying and the other doctor told him that there are parents bitches like that
- I'm pretty sure that when Ame-no-Uzume(crow girl) appeared for the first time she mentioned that Gorou and Sarina weren't loved by their parents.
- Ruby herself a few chapters ago was talking about she understanding her parents working far away as if they ignored her existence

So yeah, i think it's good to jump into conclusions that this thing is a bitch, the same goes for the father and brothers. It could be because they weren't mentally prepared? Even if that's the case doesn't change the fact that they totally ignored a terminally ill young girl and left her all alone there.

No need to say that Miyako and Ai are a billion times better than those scums

Ruby's schedules are packed with B-Komachi livestreams, schoolwork, variety show gigs, studying for exams and dance practice. Ruby is still up at 03:00 AM reading the script and feels like she's not living up to standards set by Ai. Aqua notices this as he passes by her room. Kaburagi had told Miyako that Ruby's skills were not up to par with the other actors and that she needed a lot of practice to get into shape. Miyako was irritated at this and defended Ruby by telling him about how hard she was working, to which Kaburagi responded that if Ruby didn't step up, the film would end up on the same level as Sweet Today. Ruby went along with Kana to one of her gigs to observe her acting. Kana is working on a gig from that one director who tried to get lucky with her where she is playing the role of a mentally unstable woman who puts her crush's hair in her food. Kana's performance got a thumbs up from the Director. Kana took the opportunity to teach Ruby about emotional acting and told her that she really has to put herself in the shoes of the character. These words had left a large impression on her mind as she lies in bed asking herself who she really is inside. Ruby is confused as to which one of her identities is her real self, and asks herself how she feels about the script considering how the story contains parts about Ai's mother treating Ai as a burden. Sarina appears in her mind and talks about how her mother never loved her. Ruby fervently denies this and says that's impossible as she clearly remembers how Sarina's mother had said that she loved her when asked. The spoiler makes it very clear that Sarina's mom had said this in an offhanded manner.
