Going by the notion it was portrayed since the times of FI that Luffy would of been the one to strike her down, I doubt it will happen. But I'm fixed on the ZKK wagon.

No outcome will satisfy the anti ZKK. They manage to come up with one or two new headcanon with every chapter that's been released since 1000 that removes Zoro out of the fight against the Emperors

Pro ZKK will be less happier if it happens against a defeated Kaido. It's still a big feat which even Kaido himself, the Marines and Emperors couldn't achieve. Everything leading up to it though (the monstrous samurai like Oden comment, atleast matching the wound Oden inflicted on Kaido, potential CoC and/or black blade moment) will make up for it.

Still, Zoro is no executioner. Him killing a Kaido that's on the ground defeated by other one would be very out of character or pretty much sad. But I do like the ideas that they gave before. Kaido after being defeated by Luffy using his Mythological Zoan he would recover so fast that Luffy won't be able to go after him, then Kaido tries a last attack to burn the Capital and boom, sushi for dinner.

Yeah i was just calling out to those saying that once the villian gets beaten by Luffy, he will stay unconcious till the rest of the arc. Nothing indicates that Kaidou will be beaten and stay unconcious, thus any act of killing him will be an execution move, which people always used it against ZKK because Zoro is not an executioner.

Zoan fruits give characters the ability to recover faster from injuries. If Kaido is defeated and knocked unconcious his devil fruit would probably wake him up very fast, he might try to use boro breath to burn the capital or to destroy and then it is when Zoro ends him.

Yep, this is what most people who believe in ZKK think it will happen. So both Luffy-defeat-Kaidou and Zoro-Kill-Kaidou parties will be satisfied.

At the end of the day Oda may portray content based off necessity. If he doesn't want to make Zoro look the evil of the situation, ZKK could happen in softer ways.

The solution Oda came up with is Zoro killing Kaido while Luffy defeats Big Mom.
That way both take down one Emperor each, everybody happy. Or BigMeme is beneath Luffy fans? :yasu:
