General & Others People forgive how Oda got rid of Kaido and Big mom too easily

The decline was really visible in WCI, with the Tamatebako shitfest, Big Mom's tantrum and Katakuri stabbing himself and letting Luffy defeat him. We just didn't want to see it.

Wano just cemented it really. Besides Kaido & Big Mom's defeats being just anti climactic as fuck, there was a lot of terrible stuff.
Kid & Law vs Big Mom was a crap fight for a main villain of the saga.
Some Strawhats received almost no shine like Usopp or Brook. Nami's win was really cheap, it was due to Big Mom.
Sanji turning into a cyborg was really unnecessary, wasn't he supposed to be different from his siblings?
Zoro's dream was completely irrelevant in the lands of swordsmen. What happened with the Grim Reaper? And what happened with Zoro's lineage and his relationship with Ryuma & Ushimaru ? The amount of ignored plot lines with Zoro are astonishing.
And of course, the amount of plot armor for Luffy was insane, dude can just lose 1000 times, it doesn't matter, he will just be found randomly by Law's crew in the middle of the sea after being dropped from a flying island. And when you knock him out again, he will just awaken randomly lmao. I feel bad for Kaido.
There was a lot wrong about this arc really, it's hard to remember it all.

People should stop expecting too much from Oda. This isn't the same author we had for the first part of the series who had masterful writing where we felt every little foreshadowing or little hint mattered and nothing was left to randomness. You cannot say that about Oda anymore, not after the disaster class that was the Yonko saga. Maybe dude just has too much money now he doesn't care about the quality of his craft as much. My only hope now is that he actually planned the ending of the series a long time ago so it could be good.

Lowkey same they might be in space or some shit lol
Like kars from jojo?

Perfect post :josad:

Literally the way Wano ends shows us how Oda doesn't know how to get rid of those two monster lol.
Literally Wano ppl were like OK we are free now after hearing Kaido is been defeated by some volcanic eruption.
Realistically you will still be paranoid by the unbeatable monster( that rule your lands for 2 decades) possible comeback because you don't even know his fate exactly

Luffy doesn't even see his body, the last thing he knew was punching Kaido.
All samurai, all strawhat, Yamato etc were celebrating as if Kaido is reduced to thin air. Nobody knows his state.
No fans believe Kaido could be dealt by some volcanic eruption. Only ppl that says BeCaUse GODa says so will accept it

Worst case possible is Kaido could still be coming back.
It would be better "for the story" if Kaido is truly dead lol.
Imagine making your character act like they know the fate of those two and will not be coming back as they know they are already dead........but they coming back again.
I won't be surprised either because this is the author excels at making dumb character such as making them believing Big mom will be defeated by some steel beams falling on her.

Yeah, definitely agree with not expecting so much from Oda anymore. One Piece will probably never be good anymore. At best (like you said) the ending was planned and wont be that disappointing because it is pre-TS-quality.

Kaido:"Oy, Linlin, you dead?"
Big Mom: "Nah."
Kaido: "Should we go up again and f*ck them up?"
Big Mom: "Yeah. Lets go. But this time lets also destroy the villagers."
Kaido: "Okay."
