Like my reply to other threads discussing the same issues, you just gotta learn to live with it, it is what it is.
If i gotta rudely sum it up in one sentence to describe it all, it would be:
"suck it up bitch, sometimes Oda's writing is shit"
WCI was also filled with pointless plot points, many of them never got resolved.
I swear i've seen this kind of thread for the third time in one week, i guess that means that WG users have gotten a lot smarter, or that Oda has really dropped the ball.
I think Oda needs to go with quality>quantity and less is more approach, one of the reasons the arcs are so dragged out that isn't breaks is because of oda trying to juggle too many things at the same time in one arc. Those individual plot points get drawn out, and the arc itself becomes unnecessarily longer. Most disappointingly is when the payoff wasn't worth the buildup. So many fake hype moments and unresolved plot points that went nowhere. WCI suffered from this, and now Wano too.

The pacing has been garbage since Dressrosa, or was Fishman Island bad too? I can't remember.
Anyway 100+ chapter arcs post timeskip has become the norm, both Dressrosa and WCI were unnecessarily too long. Wano won't be any different unfortunately.
