Wano weekly has been better than Dressrosa and WCI were, two arcs that (Dressrosa especially) are very much getting the benefit of people rereading in bulk, or having read through it all at once.
You hit the nail on the head.
You right every altercation is synthetic
Every single “tense” situation is artificial
Antagonizing Characters always have a checkmate against them crafted in such cheap “in our face” forms…
Apoo runs with Virus: Marco shows up
Queen passes Virus + locks Floor: Chopper creates antidote in 0.1 seconds
Beast Pirates Exist: Tama Arrives
Big Mom exists: Tama Arrives
Page one and Ulti exists: Tama Arrives
Ulti exists: Zeus joins Nami
Kaido exists: Luffy plot armor
Kaido and Big Mom exists: Luffy plot armor
All artificial battles with no sort of setbacks or repercussions (except for Zoro battles (which why we love Zoro))
The reason Mr. Morj says the raid will fail is because there is zero sense of real urgency and everything feels like a superficial extension of plot only to be extended by some other Joe average character to get their mediocre portrayal of shine. I could go on but if I did I’d prepare a college dissertation level of writing on such a stupidly long and mediocre arc.

It was hyped but it’s fallen sadly short so far. There’s no feeling of urgency or fear. There’s been so many plot device characters just showing up there’s no reason to wonder how they’ll get out of a jam.
1. How will they stop the virus
Marco has just the power that perfectly counters this
2. How will they help the scabbards
Someone’s there’s to heals them then dips
3. How will they deal with the vast number difference
Tama
4. How will Zoro deal with being taken out so early
Magic medicine that was never hinted at
Like there’s been plot after plot that it literally shows the alliance doesn’t need to plan or strategize because plot will rescue them…

Reading Wano in bulk/in one go, from chapter 909 to chapter 1021, is just so laughably sad and awful. You truly realize how so little "content" is in this arc.
Chapter 909, I implore you, if you have time to waste, re-read the Wano arc again.
We know absolutely nothing about why Wano is special, or how the Kozuki clan came to be allied with the minks hundreds of years ago. We know absolutely nothing about how the poneglyph are even crafted or why the Kozuki clan are the only ones able to craft it. We know absolutely nothing about...
But we do know Tana's blood type, her favorite food, the blood type of her teacher or whatever Tenguyama, his favorite food, his favorite teapot, what kind of Devil Fruit that teapot consumed, etc...
