It was staged as fuck. If it wasn't security would be on the stage within seconds and they would kick out will + Chris' reaction wouldn't be laughing.

Will slapped him, Chris laughed it off and you can see Will smiling mid way back the stage if you watch it in slow mo.

Security can be pretty incompetent tho, (reminder astroworld), no one eas expecting that reaction from Will. I am surprised as how no one was checking if he was fine or smth, he took the slap straight up, or the cameras should have cut right there.

Gotta say they made the oscars more interesting tho, didn't even realize they were up until I saw these news trending, fucking lol, and they are known for that one scene only now, congrats
