I heard recently there wasn't proof that anyone is 'born gay' but it's sort of related to environmental factors. For example, I heard a lot of gay men have multiple older male brothers.

Also, I am well aware that some homosexual behaviour can be induced as a coping mechanism to child sexual abuse (please do not count this as 'oh, you need to be abused to be gay' but, I'm sure someone will....).
