Shanks is not beating whitebeard…for that matter he wouldn’t even touch Rayleigh especially 20 years ago. WB was Prime and Rayleigh hasn’t lost a step outside of stamina in his old age.
Kaido went to a draw with BM after 3 days…
Oden first man to scar and be an actual threat to Kaido.
2 listed are Yonkos and one of probably the strongest samurai of the current time period especially around Mihawk/shanks fight. The fact you even say shanks impressed WB while saying WB is inferior to shanks is enough to not take what you say seriously..

for someone who thinks BM is weak don’t forget he couldn’t even push her past a stalemate and joined forces with her after a 3 day fight.
Mihawk couldn’t even get near WB on marinerord while he had zero haki and was run on his last leg, meanwhile he was stopped by both his YC2&3 respectively…
Rayleigh dogged Kizaru so bad on Saboady that he had to retaliate to going out and catching 500 d tier pirates, while his haki feat is equal to both Garps and Shanks feats. His aura alone made Blackbeard bow out from a fight.

I'm sure Mihawk maxed out the skill for his specific fighting style, which is one sword style. Now does 2 or even 3 sword style on average demand more sword skill? Yes. But at the same time, wielding his huge kriegsmesser which such grace is in itself a great skill. Zoro at the end of pre TS already had incredible swordskill using 3 sword style, including having access to Asura, yet bowing down to Mihawk and asking him to teach him the "way of the sword".
If Mihawk had maxed out Haki without skill, he wouldn't be able to utilize nearly as much power as he can with great skill.
