It is said that Ragnirs Ice can not be melted, only by Ragnir himself, but that is absolute BS for an ability. So Oda is saying there is absolutely no way to melt it? So you can simply ''One Shot'' anybody in the verse with this ability?
There has to be a counter to that. So far every ability had a weakness or a counter, be it simply Haki. I also don't buy it yet, that Imu couldn't brake it. I need to see him to actualy try and not some random Pacman bomb.
It is also weird that he even shot the Bomb, because he should know Ragnirs ability and if it truly was unbreakable, he wouldn't even try to shoot a Bomb at it. Yet he did. Unless Oda just wanted to show us how ''unbreakable'' it is, if that is the case Oda didn't put much effort into it.
Very questionable ability to bring into the story, considering Oda sucks at handling OP abilities to the point he just makes the character forget he has a certain ability for plot reasons...
Also, why didn't Loki try to Freeze Imu? He even had a free hit on him...

How is that even the same?
I am not comparing something from real life and the manga. I am talking about what was stated in the manga. And as far as i know, we don't have some magical Ice irl, so i don't why you are bringing up Kizaru here...

It's the same because it's said Kizaru moves at speed of light just like it's said Ragnir ice can't be melted.

It's not the same you doofus...
You compare a statement from the manga with real life. That OP lightspeed is not the same as real life.
I am talking about a statement that some magical ice, that exist only in the manga, is impossible to melt. It's a BS ability to have in the story, since it can just one shot everybody if nobody is able to melt it. So i say there should be a counter to it.

Enough Haki can bypass Devil Fruits.

No one around the ice had powerful enough Haki to even try.

Imu tried with a shot of Omen, but it didn't look he tried very hard, and we don't even know what Omen is.

As it stands, you're getting ahead of yourself.

It's a hax just like Boa's Stone or Sugar's Toys. There is a precedent set in the verse for "avoid at all cost or you are screwed" abilities.

Don't read too deep into it. Is it broken? Yes, but it fits Loki. Broken genes, broken devil fruit, broken weapon with a broken hax ability.

You can still avoid being turn to stone by what Momonga did, he used Pain to avoid being turned to stone. And who knows if Haki wouldn’t break you out of it.
Same for Sugar, it probably simply wouldn’t work on a Top Tier, because their Haki is too strong. Same thing happened with Law, where we wasn’t able to Teleport Kaidou and BM with his DF, because their Haki was too strong.
Law for example could also undo Doc Q‘s ability with Haki aswell.
We have also seen characters break out of abilities with CoC Haki, Garp from Aokiji‘s, Luffy waking himself up from undercooling from Monet and so on.
Which is the reason i don’t buy that Ragnir‘s Ice is unbreakable. Someone with strong enough Haki surely would be able to break out of it, otherwise it would be a one shot ability without anyway out…

Why are we acting like we havent seen this before with Sugar's ability?
Attention span that short, huh?
Abilities like this are merely plot devices to achieve a specific thing.
They will never be a problem in actual fights.

Which is what i am hoping for. Or atleast that they can break out of it. But based on Loki‘s words only Ragnir can.
Loki did freeze Imu‘s blob form, don’t think that counts though.
