Chapter Discussion Revolutionary fraud

#24
It looks to me as 'fraud Marshall D teach'

Teach even went to make a country under WG, so he can infiltrate his crew without fighting on Navy HQ before to Mariejoa

Kuma has perfect ability for rescue mission. Revos should have tried at least.
Maybe Kuma can't actually teleport to Marijoa for some reason. It would explain a recent few chapters of him climbing the Red Line instead of just teleporting there. We know he can still use the ability since he teleported out once he was there. He can teleport out but not in.

Probably can not get past the red line and thus needed to climb over it. He did not do anything in MJ.
Everything looks like fraudpiece since the world only really started moving when Luffy came along.
"Why do they not do shit?"
"Why where they sitting tight for 30 years?"
Something needed to upset the power balance. The rest is like an avalanche. Luffy and Teach were the 2 things that upset the balance.

Everyone knows where celestial dragons live but decided to sit back and whining. Poor Jinny need to crawl back by herself.

Pre-TS zoro has bigger ball than the whole army combined lol
No. Pre TS Zoro was just ignorant. When Egghead Arc started he was the first to advise Luffy to not go there.

Just a couple of things to mention and counterpoints:

While the CD's live in the Holy Land, it's size has show to be gigantic (at least similar to EL) and there are slaves everywhere. Attacking the base without knowing where she is specifically would just create a hostage (if they just don't kill Ginny outright) even if they had the numbers to face the WG/knights (they didn't). And this is assuming that she is in Marijeoa and not in a island somewhere that a CD destroyed to make a summer home.

At the same time, while a frontal attack is suicidal/stupid, it has been show that a single or a small squad can succeed. Kuma also has show mastery over his fruit and could make a hit and run to rescue Ginny, if he knew her location. Invading without knowing her location would be a bad move because Kuma is not built for sneak missions.

Dragon was a ex-marine and his father was Garp. There were ways for him to learn where she was taken. Like, just begging Garp would do if things got desperate (Garp was not show to be without morals and would help, even if acting as a enemy on the surface and give at least a hint of where she was).

My theory is very simple: Dragon decided that Kuma was too valuable to risk losing saving Ginny and didn't do anything because losing Kuma would be crippling for the young movement. We saw Kuma handling things single handled. Ginny was a small sacrifice for the cause. Later, just the fact that he promised to help Bonnie was enough to have Kuma on call 24/7. So he sit on his ass about Ginny and Bonnie (notice that Kuma is the one to find a good doctor and not Dragon), and use Kuma as a weapon for his cause. Notice that when someone he actually cared about (Kuma) was captured, he gave the orders fast. Kuma was a slave for a couple of months max before he was freed.

TL/DR: Dragon didn't give a rat ass about Ginny. He just wanted to use Kuma for his cause.

W for the Zoro gas. But let's be serious now. Dragon even said that the Revolutionaries were in their infancy (not in those exact words but it was heavily implied), there's no way that they could invade Mariejois and win.

Plus they never knew who took her, so why would they go to Mariejois?

He cannot sacrifice an einter army for only one soldier

is hard to accept but is the reality of war
That makes Dragon even dumber. He has an army but no special ops?

USA SOCOM
  • Hostage Rescue and Recovery
Offensive measures taken to prevent, deter, preempt, and respond to terrorist threats and incidents, including recapture of U.S. facilities, installations, and sensitive material in overseas areas.
  • Direct Action
Short-duration strikes and other small-scale offensive actions employing specialized military capabilities to seize, destroy, capture, exploit, recover, or damage designated targets.
  • Special Reconnaissance
Actions conducted in sensitive environments to collect or verify information of strategic or operational significance.
Didn't Sabo and crew just perform a SOCOM-like activity?

In fact RA are the worst faction in OP and Dragon is one of the worst and most useless character in the manga

One of the biggest mistakes about Oda's writing is the management of RA

Really really really bad writing, they did something decent only in the last 5-6 volumes

I think expectations for Dragon were too high.

What we can say for now is that Dragon is << Yonko

And the revolutionary army is less than a Yonko Crew.

A single Yonko can't do shit against WG

All the discussions surrounding Dragon and the Revo Army around the interwebs led me to the conclusion that Dragon's a Class A retard that has never established any intelligence agency or spy base when one would be an outright necessity for an organization as small as his. This brainlet's a goddamn fraud and an idiot.
