Why is it contrived? If it’s not their peaks, it’s damn near their peaks. They will never fight a more intense battle than this after, it was a calm ocean without Rocks. Why are we also excluding Xebec from this logic? For all we know, this isn’t Xebec’s peak either lmfao. He could still have untapped potential but died prematurely.
In both fights, Xebec was heavily disadvantaged and outnumbered. He had light bruises at most, at best you can argue a mid-diff.

The rash manner in which Ace charged at Akainu for insulting WB, is exactly what Roger would have done in that situation.

Kaido specifically claimed he Rogers Haki allowed him to bring the world to heel. This statement coming from a man who has fought and witnessed the strongest characters in the series.

Roger power level is still unchanged he is at least equal to Garp and confirmed equal to Whitebeard who is WSM and WSP making him stronger than all yonkos and admirals introduced in story .

Turns out roger didnt beat ANYONE nor did he conquer shit. Shakky the helen of opverse didnt bat an eye towards him; Xebec cared more about harald than giving 2 sec of attention to roger
