The Jester's Diary
Hello everyone. I'm Thomas. I wasn't born like this. Telling jokes, always smiling, wearing weird costumes. I was just a normal person. But then I got bored living in Salem. The boredom never went away. And well...boredom leads you to some crazy shit.
Evening Phase
It all started out in one evening. I was sitting on my lonesome doing Jester things but then I had this miraculous idea. What if I talked to myself and faked being the Doctor? I thought it was perfect. Thus, I went on this long ramble spewing major bullshit. Even called myself a bloody Heart Transplant Surgeon and an Orthodontist. I had no clue what those were but it got the townsfolk giving me these side glances. I had them right where I want them.
Day 1
Everything was perfect, just perfect! I was babbled about stuff that made zero sense, got into heavy contradictions with the townsfolk. I was the center of attention! Guess what I did? I CALLED MYSELF THE ESCORT! Look at me! Do I look a sexy son of a gun to you? I'm just a man with a sense of humor. But it worked, they were voting me up! My dream was coming to fruition. But then...my worst nightmare happened.
"I think Thomas is town."
"Thomas might be an idiot but he seems pretty townie to me."
"I believe his claim."
What the fuck? This can't be. Are they town reading me?!
Day 2
I think I've caught a cold. Didn't really sleep well last night. Curse this town. The town reads are getting stronger and stronger. Curse the Godfather for dying. Made me look even more town. How many more lies must I have to tell?! But then, I saw my chance. The Retributionist. I whispered to him. Exchanged some secrets...then I exploited him. One. Last. Lie.
