Is Sandoq about to have the most legendary run ever in the history of Asoiaf tourneys on the internet?:noo:

Alright, I'll say: it's possible that Sandoq, with his size and strenght, ability to carry a great sword with one hand as easily as the Moutain (and a Valyrian blade at that), mobility and skill...was the perfect man for the job on that drawbridge. And that this doesn't necessarily translate to him having the advantage over literally everyone in a 1v1 match.

Arthur was the deadliest Kingsguard in what possibly was the most stacked Kingsguard group ever. He is uber wanked. He probably had no weaknesses as a fighter. He was Martin's first pick in a trial by combat. Some fuckery on Reed's part happened at the Tower of Joy. Barristan the Bold is a legend but he is confimed inferior to him carrying Dawn, Jaime winning against him is still less likely than the opposite, Bobby B was great but that warhammer would have been given back to Stannis if Arthur fought him 1v1 at the Trident.

Extremely hard match. But as I wrote, this time around I will give it to Sandoq.

:finally:

Alright, gentlemen. We have reached the penultimate battle. The true climax of this contest of tomfoolery.

OUR FINAL TWO CONTENDERS ENTER THE ARENA.

IN THE FIRST CORNER, THIS DEBATABLY INHUMAN CONTENDER SWEPT THREE LEGENDARY LORD COMMANDERS OF THE KINGSGUARD AND SER ARTHUR DAYNE WITH ALMOST NO OPPOSITION.

IN CANON, HE IS SAID TO HAVE KILLED LIONS, BEARS, AND WYVERNS WITH NOTHING BUT HIS BARE HANDS AND ROCKS HE FOUND LYING AROUND.

STANDING AT NEARLY SEVEN FEET TALL, ONE-HANDING A VALYRIAN STEEL CURVED GREATSWORD, AND SINGLEHANDEDLY HALTING AN ATTEMPTED COUP OF THE KINGSGUARD, BOTH IN CANON AND IN THIS TOURNAMENT,

THE SILENT GIANT

SANDOQ THE SHADOW

AND IN THE OTHER CORNER, WE HAVE THE MAN WHO UP-ENDED THREE CENTURIES OF TARGARYEN RULE.

HE DECIDED ENTIRE BATTLES WITH A STROKE OF HIS WARHAMMER.

IN CANON, HE VOWED TO KILL EVERY TARGARYEN. IN THIS TOURNAMENT, HE KILLED THE BEST OF THE TARGARYENS WITH AEMON THE DRAGON KNIGHT, AND KILLED THE WORST OF THEM WITH MAEGOR THE CRUEL.

THE MAN WHO TOOK THE CROWN OF WESTEROS WITH STRENGTH

ROBERT BARATHEON, FIRST OF HIS NAME

FOR THE GOLD

WHO WINS AND WHY???

HYPE!!

Prime Robert Baratheon was an extremely fierce warrior, crushing people with his warhammer but this time around...he faces THIS BEAST.

Sandoq the fookin' Shadow. This MONSTER, nearly 7 feet tall, carrying a Valyrian great blade with one hand and great skill, a 100 victories to his name before coming to Westeros, fucking brutalizes 12 guards and one Kingsguard member. This man OVERCAME Duncan the Tall, Ryan Redwyne, Barristan Selmy and even the SWORD OF THE MORNING HIMSELF to reach this final. He just COULDN'T be stopped.

Robert gives him a good match but loses. His opponent is too much of a monster.

SANDOQ THE SHADOW FOR THE GOLD!!

Fifteen years past, when they had ridden forth to win a throne, the Lord of Storm’s End had been clean-shaven, clear-eyed, and muscled like a maiden’s fantasy. Six and a half feet tall, he towered over lesser men, and when he donned his armor and the great antlered helmet of his House, he became a veritable giant. He’d had a giant’s strength too, his weapon of choice a spiked iron warhammer that Ned could scarcely lift.
- A Game of Thrones, Eddard I
In his youth, Robert Baratheon was a paragon of a man, stronger and larger than most others on the battlefield. His chosen weapon was a war hammer of such immense size his friend Ned Stark could not wield it. The hammer was forged by Donal Noye while he was still the smith at Storm’s End, and Robert’s prowess with it was legendary. In tournaments, he was never much for jousting, preferring a melee where he could bludgeon his opponents senseless.
- King Robert’s Warhammer, Valyrian Steel
Yes, it is a big hammer. A very big hammer. Going to be heavy as well. I insisted on that. After all, it says right in the book that Robert’s warhammer was so huge and heavy that only someone with his own freakish strength could wield it. So I kept telling them, “bigger, bigger.”
- If I had a Hammer… Not A Blog

Robert takes this.

I don't believe Robert enjoys even a single advantage here.

Not that it'd make him win, but I don't think he has anything over Sandoq. Lol.
I would give him brute strength over Sandoq. That Warhammer is just crazy.

I think Sandoq, in spite of his size and heavy muscles, fights moreso with raw skill and experience than brute strength. Although as a 7 foot giant he is likely strong as hell. But the way he mowed down the guards during his one fight, makes me think he’s just super experienced and skillful instead of just a brute.

Give me a fucking break.

You cunts are really gonna crown this mfer.
Hard to deny his showing during fire and blood lmfao. Killing twelve guardsmen and a skilled Kingsguard without taking a scratch and with apparent ease.

Lazy is the way

lol he killed no one worth writing something about

and on a bridge it’s easier for someone with his size and range and skill. Enemies can only come from the front and not 12 at once

Arthur Barristan or Redwyne would kill him 1 vs 1

I wouldn't even give him that. Superior outright, I mean. Sandoq basically is the only other guy aside from the Mountain to fight with a great sword in one hand and shield in the other.

Now Robert fought with that warhammer sure and that takes crazy strenght, but from Jaime's thoughts and overall portrayal I have him ~ the Hound and Greatjon strenght wise. I think Sandoq is around that as well, if not higher.

I think Sandoq is a skillful, experienced, strong ass dude. Lol.

Edit: I think you meant the impact of the blows, rather than pure physical strenght.
