I’m a casual JJK follower. I don’t really know what’s the difference between his death against Toji and Sukuna. Against Toji did he anticipate that he’s gonna die and concentrated on healing before he was even killed while he didn’t expect Sukuna to kill him this time? From the black flashes, seems like he got his RCT back. So he should be able to heal himself.
With Mahoraga out of the way, Gojo if healed still could damage Sukuna. He just lost his invincibility due to Sukuna knowing how to get past that with his dimension slash but Gojo can always fight like a regular sorcerer dodging strikes and damaging Sukuna with his CT. He’s AP is still one of the best amongst sorcerers in protagonists side right now.

Also forgot about his teleportation application of his infinity. He can instantaneously move anywhere he wants to dodge strikes. Gojo could have still done more before getting defeated. Seems like he gave up too easily which is quite unlike him

He felt desperation. Think he hit Sukuna with hos strongest attack and sukuna tanked that. Even if he can heal himself , there is no reason for that. Sukuna is too skilled for Gojo . Gojo is not weak , Sukuna is too strong :) Also , after death, Gojo was not happy about reaching or satisfying Sukuna , when sukuna said , you were magnificent, gojo was happy , and he smiled. This was good bye.
