Shanks physical attacks are sword based: matches with WSS, Named sword, used it to help control his haki snipe, + only one arm which probably is used to hold his named sword.

When actually fighting him he probably exerts an insane AoE CoC that even Luffy will struggle against. Probably does what it did to Greenbull which is immobilize them, fuck with the CoO, and tire/daze them like conquerors attacks have been shown to do time and time again. Each step taken towards Shanks is like pushing through a thick swamp sapping your energy and focus, only for him to grace fully rush at you with a Divine Departure. A fight with a top tier probably looks a bit like Oden vs Kaido did, but with even stronger CoC that wins him a lot of match ups.

Shanks is a haki-man, but swords are his preferred magic catalyst.

Mihawk has CoC, but it gets shit on by the more ambitious shanks. The debuffs Shanks puts out is the reason Mihawk is still considered the WSS, because his swordsman ship is still superior... but Shanks has a better kit outside of swordsmanship.

CoC will be what puts Zoro above Mihawk, because his ambition to be WSS is now second to a greater ambition.

Mihawk ambition and Strength is more than Shanks.

Nah, you have that entirely wrong.
When it comes to hakimen, the order will be like this: Zoro>Mihawk>Shanks.
Right now it is probably like this: Mihawk>Zoro>Shanks.

You failed to answer the question you referred to though. The panels you make use of to mark Shanks as nothing more than a swordsman, are panels Oda had knowledge of when asking how Shanks fights.
