Shanks-tards in here projecting their own cope as Mihawk fan cope :milaugh:

The only exception I'm thinking of is Garling who might have actually become a "demon" powered by Imu, hence not a "man", to fall under Mihawks portrayal/title, and so he'd be stronger than Shanks and Mihawk.

But if it's only Shamrocks blade that's being treated this way, because by the way the cerberus isn't called a fruit, so it could defo be a power like the gorosei have, just imbued in the blade, then Shamrock is still a man and mortal.

This chapter only strengthens the fact that in a world of devil fruit (like gravity) and mythical beast wielding swordsman, Mihawk alone is the Honoured One who stands at the pinnacle awaiting Zoro

Shamrock/shanks-tards better hope Zoro doesn't fight this dude before Mihawk. This would be Oda's way of Zoro surpassing shanks without having to actually fight shanks, fulfilling that statement of Mihawk waiting on someone to surpass red hair.

An older sibling with two limbs in-tact and some bullshit mythical sword, with 3 head hounds, guard dog of the god of the underworld. All just to be the stepping stone to THE EVEN BIGGER STEPPING STONE, DRACULE MIHAWK!!!

:gokulaugh:

Mihawk’s warlord level sword skill can only take you so far so it makes sense

The admirals and emperor are likely just as good with their weapons as mihawk is with them adding devil fruits to get even stronger. The warlords just being the admirals yc equivalent. Something mihawk proved time and time again
Look at this dick sucker in action . What a shame

Oda said if Zoro would have a fruit it’d be kaidos but he’d give it to his sword instead . Does that make Zoro not a swordsman ? You bozos are sad

Honestly my bad
Should’ve realized the manga, vivre cards, databooks etc are all biased against mihawk. Should’ve sourced your fanfictions if I wanted to truly be accurate
Try reading what you source for once. It said in that fight with vista specifically.

Try using mihawks vc that says he's the strongest in actuality and waiting for someone stronger than shanks

Yes in the fight where mihawk and vista fought they were equals

Yeah his sword skill is the strongest which is why he’d beat even his near equal vista in a fight. Mihawk is the man that sword dueled pre 1billion berry shanks after all

Yeah same as apoo and lucci who clashed with zoro (and got one shot)

No the manga says his sword skill is superior to THE RED HAIRED EMPEROR not 1 billion shanks lmfao

Too easy to body your loser ass

True
Before zoro got friendship boosted he was equal with them too I almost forgot

Yeah true
Mihawks sword skill > shank’s sword skill that likely only got worse after losing his dominant arm

I'd prefer Shanks to be a pure swordsman/Hakiman, because that's what he is repeatedly portrayed as. Which is what distinguishes him from the rest of the DF merchants. And his parallel Roger after all didn't have a DF power as well. So while Shanks would be the free, ambitious Hakiman, his brother who is constrained by the CD ideology is a DF merchant (though he surely will have strong Haki too).

Though yes, it's certainly possible that Oda will milk the shit out of the two twin brothers being the same.

Seriously speaking, all this DF merchant Is just in your heads.

DFs are what makes this manga unique, final villian, MC, important villians have all DF because this Is how the manga works. Now we even have DFs related to gods.
One can not like It, but it's funny trying to make a joke out of It.

It would be like if we said "the same boring, repetitive haki merchant", which anyway would be truer since haki Is indeed standard in his applications.

Yes, and the point is, that in a world full of DF powers, it is nice to see people not relying on it but on their innate power. As Kaido said, Haki has a higher ceiling, it is what conquers the world. DF being an integral part of the Manga doesn't mean each and every relevant character has to rely on it.

Cerberus guards the underworld.

Gryphons guard the divine.

The name isn't just a reverse parallel: it's literal. Shanks also has a divine power embedded in his sword.

Shanks most likely got the power when he visited Mariejois. This is also probably the reason Mihawk doesn't want to fight him anymore and is depressed. Because Shanks cheated.
