Powers & Abilities Shanks: Swordsman or Not?

Law did that, casual admirals do better like fuji lifting island
Notice he said WITHOUT Df or Presumed Haki Law did that with his devil fruit take his devil fruit away he doesnt have that raw strength and same with fuji thats literally his devil fruit. Mihawk did a effortlessly casual slash just pure strength :crazwhat:
We havent seen a named attsck from Mihawk. Now imagine if he can use ADV CoA and Adv CoC on his all out attacks:crazwhat: its really not looking good to bet against mihawk or downplay him

Lmao, Shanks being swordsman or not is irrelevant to what a huge number of retards think. I've had even very recent conversations that legit translate into this:

"Is Mihawk the WSS?"
"Yes."

"Is Shanks a swordsman?"
"Yes."

"Is Mihawk stronger than or equal to Shanks?"
"No. Shanks clear-cut above."

"Any other swordsman who is above Mihawk or Shanks?"
"No."

"So Shanks is the WSS!"
"No. Mihawk is the strongest swordsman in the world, but Shanks is stronger swordsman."

You can't change what they believe, you can bring them facts and they'll still believe Shanks is superior.

You have to make them realize they are wrong, not that we are right, by asking questions.

- If Shanks is not a swordsman, then what is he?
- If Shanks is not a swordsman, then what does he do with a sword?
- If Mihawk is not stronger than Shanks, then what does his title mean?
- The kanji means "the world's strongest swordsman" as in "the strongest among all swordsmen". If Shanks is stronger than Mihawk, does it mean that Shanks is the WSS?
- If Shanks is above Mihawk, then does it mean that Zoro will have to face Shanks after Mihawk?

They literally go, "Mihawk is WSS, but Shanks is stronger overall despite being a swordsman. No, it does not mean Zoro's title will be hollow. Zoro can still be stronger swordsman, but Shanks will be overall stronger despite being a swordsman"

Literally that lmao

The debate usually ends up in a new definition of WSS. It's not the strongest person wielding a sword, but how aesthetically pleasing the style is to the eye

Or someone that relies solely on a sword, and doesn't use haki, sandals, arms or legs lol

it's the battle that rages across the whole internet huh.
well...if it has to be questioned this much, he's probably not a swordsman. otherwise claims of him being a swordsman would be swept away as troll claims.
the show has been good so far though, keep it up bois :ihaha:

Let me try lowering my Q.I. by using the answers they would likely use:

-Hakiman
-Hakiman skills
-Means that shanks has the strongest hakiman tittle, he fought Mihawk with his sword in swordmen duels because clearly the hakimen title is what Mihawk truly cares about
-*post some random BS withoud context followed with a shitty explanation that clearly dosent mean jackshit*
-Shanks hakiman, like garp
:laughmoji::laughmoji::laughmoji::laughmoji:

The true question here is...
Was WB a swordsman?
Asking the real question, i think we go into DF munble junble territory with this, same with big meme.

He fought with a sword but 90% of his atacks where done withoud using it, and relying solely on his DF....But then again Fujitora is a swordman and a confirmed one at that, and i dont think calling meteors from the sky count as a sword atack.
