You would have a point if it was done like Vergo jumping to Law while Law teleported his heart to him, because Law genuinely wasn't focused on him and by the time he noticed him Vergo was already attacking him.

Shanks had to travel a considerable distance in the air while Law just teleported to Doflamingo instantly
I never said Law's teleportation is faster than Shanks in general, but it does take less time than having to jump from the ships and fly towards Kidd.

There's no excuse for Kidd seeing Shanks approaching the ship but not reacting in time. It's simple, he wasn't fast enough to dodge, otherwise it'd look more like this (not quite like it, cause obviously Kidd couldn't block Shanks' attack, but you get the point):
