Yeah, an expression for the guy who stands at the Top. It was Roger's era, cause he stood at the Top of the Piracy World. After Roger died, it became Whitebeards era. Shiki didn't have what it took to dethrone Roger, despite all his manpower and Roger's lack there of.

I don’t get the point? Everybody free to build there crews however.... nobody uses Rogers multiple top tiers against him. When discussing Rogers vs WBPs.
Rogers has multiple top tiers (oden/Rayleigh). WB for a while had oden. But shiki rivalry with sengoku suggest the marines viewed shiki crew at the very least more problematic then WBPs. It definitely wasn’t because of mass fodders imo.

90% of Databook content is simply rewording manga content and offers absolutely no new information
-Shiki is a great pirate = Established by chapter 0 and movie
-who once rivaled PK Roger = Battle of the Ed War which is said to have ended in a TIE after a storm saved Roger's ship.
That's it.
Databook only says Shiki rivals Roger because Shiki's fleet and Roger's crew fought to a stalemate.
Ace novel is an even worse offender literally 99% of everything said about Yonko and Shiki there is copy pasta'd from the manga.
Shiki ain't = to Roger.

I understand but you can't publish without getting supervision, check the movies, check the databooks it will always have Oda names at somewhere, secondly, speculation has nothing to do with shanks fighting equally with the admirals? lol you should embrace this all I got to do is pull up Oda calling WB the strongest pirate and the admirals embarrassing him, since you're offended I think admirals>mihawk which oda did approve. this magazine is no less canon then the one with law,zoro,kinemon that the milaugh fanboys started using

Roger spoke of Garp and Sengoku in the same breath, they're both in the same tier.
Shiki was dealt with in the movie, even if it isn't canon Oda won't bring him into the manga, it would confuse casual fans and the "plan" he wrote about in chapter 0 directly references the movie.

Chapter 0 state that last several hours and their fight destroyed Marineford. Chapter 0 is cannon. Movie is not. Period. Oda wouldn't make a cannon character to appear only in movie.
Actually, I mean he can do a cannon character but wouldn't make an entire episode without putting him into manga. Both manga and anime bring Shiki image back. He most likely will show up. One of the few who left Impel Down.
