It showed that even those that tried to save Ohara ended up dying.

In general a tragic figure,that died following his justice instead of bowing his head to the goverment.

Post Ts destroyed his entire legacy. We cannot take any moment of a "character dying" serious anymore. Just some months ago with Garp, what was that shit? I don't think Saul sacrificed himself. Think you have to have a choice in the matter for it to be considered a sacrifice. Kuzan just wrecked him. Also makes sense that Kuzan didn't kill him anyway

It's true that it is not a true ''sacrifice'' but he was depicted as giving his life for Robin, or at least that was the general idea since Kuzan let her go ''in honor of his friend''.
