It is indeed wholesome but what about the sacrifice ? If there is no consequence then it is not a sacrifice per se...imagine Pedro comes back and reunites with Carrot...yikes!!!!
There is no consequence? Literally everyone from ohara died

Tbh every character is unimportant I just read One Piece to see Zoro and Mihawk win fights and if they ever lose I'm giving up this stupid manga because all I do is win and if my favorite characters stop winning they go on my list of most hated characters and only a stupid author will allow this

He shouldve been dead as fuck. Oda is such a bitch for reviving every shit characater.

I tell you why thats such a problem for every Oda dick rider who starts crying now: reviving characters takes away every ounce of emotion of their death! Remember the Ohara incidence and the moment where Kuzan killed off his best friend? Was very deep and emotional right? Well fuck no it wasnt cause Oda is a literal child who cannot write a story. Post Ts destroyed his entire legacy. We cannot take any moment of a "character dying" serious anymore. Just some months ago with Garp, what was that shit? Does Oda really believe we fall for that ass writing?

I don't think Saul sacrificed himself. Think you have to have a choice in the matter for it to be considered a sacrifice. Kuzan just wrecked him. Also makes sense that Kuzan didn't kill him anyway

Oda is retard writter

Srsly nobody should be able to kill Vergo his whole body is sexy black

If Oda wrote One Piece the right way he would just make Vergo the main character and he would 1 shot every fodder idiot and the story will be good

It added to the checkered fate Ds are supposed to have.
It showed that even those that tried to save Ohara ended up dying.

In general a tragic figure, that died following his justice instead of bowing his head to the goverment.
But he didn't die !!!

It's true that it is not a true ''sacrifice'' but he was depicted as giving his life for Robin, or at least that was the general idea since Kuzan let her go ''in honor of his friend''.

Kuzan left him for dead lol or you think Kuzan knew that the fire would melt the ice and save him ?
