I meant to say, I completely agree with what Red Admiral said here too. There's so much that has been lost from OP post TS, a lot of the spirit, charm, adventure, crew interactions and bonding. Oda is slowly making up for it with the crew themselves and a bit of adventure but it's only a little.
I really hope we do get a truly epic final stand from the SHs too and Oda goes further in with the Enies Lobby parallels too. Seperating the SHs post TS for so long and multiple times was such a permanently damaging mistake with heavy repurcussions narratively and such.
I really want Kaido to get taken down by a group rather than someone alone. I always prefer teamwork and combos and with him being a champion of winning fights alone generally, use that against him and defeat him with a group. He loves to divide and conquer, to break captains and their crews unity and wills, so having them regain their will or even be unrelenting, despite what he does to them and even having them standing united still, or and even getting others to unite against him would be so poetic and karmic.
Between the Supernovas and the Scabbards, I felt either group deserves to take down Kaido more for mostly different reasons but also some sort of similar reasons too. I'd much rather see the SHs team up and take down Big Mom with all their personal history and experience with her directly that was fully setup from Fishman Island but foreshadowed from Thriller Bark too.
Hell, you could say Kaido was setup from back then too ofc, but BM got there first and already had a lot built up by the time Kaido appeared and then she got her own fully fledged, dedicated arc with the SHs before Kaido got his too.
And in his own arc, the Scabbards and Supernovas have more a personal reasons to fight and take down Kaido, especially the Scabbards naturally. It should be their fight and victory imo, but god knows I would love to see all the SHs working together and beating on someone way out of their league like they did to Oars.

is what matter the most
every single strew hat should be a main character ... the whole Old World established this fact
yet in new world all of them bar Luffy are reduced to side characters
and that's a fact
Anime did a better job to show case the charm and connection among the crew than manga btw
