Imu could take Haki infused Quake punch from Whitebeard with no problem.

I totally understand Yami Yami no mi can definitely be a massive game changer, unless Imu's demonic powers is actually not based from a Devil fruit.

The Gura Gura no mi seems like a pointledd addition by Blackbeard as it won't do anything against Imu

Exactly and everyone forgets that if your haki is potent enough you can force your abilities to affect others directly and if strong enough you can resist being affected by a fruit. Blackbeard has yet to show us that his haki is a threat to anyone, it be a whole different story if Blackbeard had powerful haki AND the yami then it would be a real game changer. The narrative constantly pushes the mastery of haki, while also condemning the over reliance of devil fruits.

Imu simply tanked it with COC he is superior to all he is god BB is Luffys biggest rival not Imus. He simply made Harald and Rocks his pawns. He is god-tier.

It's only useless as long as Imu uses his DF hax. The point is to stack these powers, so Imu gets smacked by a Gura punch after his DF powers have been shut down. Furthermore, I highly doubt Blackbeard will not have CoC. That's the point of Blackbeard being special and surpassing even the likes of Whitebeard; having what Whitebeard has on top of the ultimate DF hax cancellation.

Is Teach's only enemy imu?
Teach needs a powerful offensive fruit to defeat people like Shanks or Garp who don't use fruit

It seems useless against a (possibly) DF Imu but combined with Yami that theorically takes away the power of said DF, it is a massive AP boost and would hurt him/her/xer.

You are not listening. I pointed out how the Yami will shut Imu's DF down beforehand, which means Teach will have a hold on Imu's normal, human body with no way of evading via DF hax.

He won't because Imus haki is stronger much stronger than BBs even without DF Imu would beat him

Step 1: Use Yami to take away Imus "logia like" ability of no selling attacks
Step 2: Use Gura to deal maximum damage to Imus now exposed body, crushing his bones

And if/when BB gains a third fruit, either a Zoan if Yami is still Logia or a Logia if Yami is truly a Zoan, we might get a step 3 as well.

Imagine BB with Magu Magu on top of his two other powers... Yami to expose the body, Gura to crush bones, Magu to burn the immobilized victim to ashes. Wouldn't surprise me at all. Terrifying thought.
