A pedantic detail to counterpoint with. It doesn't debunk the overall theme of the chapter. That being the soul/will of a passed swordsman living within the sword they left behind and someone inheriting that will, be it literal or figurative. And Oda bookend that chapter with Zoro inheriting Oden's sword. And one of Oden's wishes before his death was Kaido's defeat.

In my honest opinion, ZKK (or even Zoro delivering the finisher without killing him) has always been an extremely stupid theory but I think he’s definitely gonna injure him. Maybe even Sanji will have a say in his defeat, who knows ?

I don't get this line of reason. If you're already convinced he'll injure Kaido, killing him isn't that much of a leap to be stupid. I don't think he'll kill Kaido, but I understand where those who do are coming from.

I think some people are really willing to think he's in the same position Zoro was in, except Zoro actually talked about fighting Kaido and engaging people in the way of his targets.

Zoro is actually talking about engaging Kaido ? Where doea explicitlt say he wants to defeat Kaido ? When Sanji technically says "We'll take out their Leader"....doesnt that mean Sanji actually saying we'll take out Kaido ? In my opinion Sanji's statement actually sounds more SKK then Zoro's statement sounding ZKK. But of course no one even brings it up ?

Why does Sanji smile and say " Until we break in and take out their leader ". Implying hes part of the fight. Not "They're gonna take out the leader" or "Luffy's gonna take out the leader". Whilst Zoro only mentions the fight against Kaido....but nothing about him being their taking out the leader. Why do we accept one but have never even acknowledged the other.

- Zoro killing him...makes every statement of Luffy saying " I will kick Kaido's ass" absoultely useless. Zoro has never shown as much interest as Luffy.

I sort of agree with your last statement, its probable than not, and I don't really like it parsay.
As for Chekhov's Gun, I think Oda uses alot of Red herrings and Macguffin instead.

And for the whole ZKK and SKK, nothing but Occam's Broom. Lololol

This arc, Luffy will shine brightest like always, I do not believe he will defeat Kaido 1v1 I think Kid and Law will shine the most as well and join him

So I finally read the intro to the thread and I’d agree w this premise naturally but problem is zoro has Enma and like it or not that has to play a part in defeating kaido whether indirectly or directly hence I see no point in giving zoro the sword.

so yea I’m still very well on the side of zoro fighting kaido along with the other supernovas not necessarily killing him but being instrumental in his defeat. That’s my opinion tho!

Sanji vs King is getting more and more solidified as we go on.

But yh latest chapter weve seen Sanji showing interest in the roof. Going by the logic that a certain fanbase has been saying, Sanji now also wants to fight and potentially kill Kaido ? Why well who knows....Sanji has legit as less motive as Zoro. But that never stopped people from believing in ZKK....lol.

Anyways yh this thread isnt more of confirming SKK ( Sanji killing Kaido) but more so having that one of ideas of ZKK ( Zoro killing Kaido) is now finally dead and put to rest.

By using the roof idea/argument for ZKK, we can also use it fundamentally for Sanji. And of course Luffy himself....the dude whos been wanting to kick Kaido's ass from start.

If you believe in ZKK and your biggest argument is the roof argument. Then yh....it means nothing.

Zoro wont kill Kaido and he is as interested in the roof as Sanji is

Lmao ppl in this thread confusing af. The OP does not say they believe Sanji is gonna defeat Kaidou. They are just saying the "going to the roof" argument does not mean the person is gonna end up fighting Kaidou or defeating them. That this one argument can not be used as confirmation. They are literally making fun of the roof argument so how can you say they believe in it lmao.
