Does he have it with him? If so, I’ll assume it’s on the so far untouched Heaven World, right at the peak of the tree so Oda can draw a view of it being there and Luffy the sun god gazing from the top. Or will they need to sail somewhere else for a place he’s stashed it?

I don’t think all players are going after that specific RP, they’ll be involved in the final war but not all are going after the one piece necessarily. For example Shanks might already have it and he and BB could fight for it, Dragon and the revs are not going for it but will take advantage of the HKs involvement in elbaf to attack the WG etc

+ we already know a group like CG will not start to collect them indivdually as they are way too behind
so one, or even several groups, might steal rubbings when the map is completed (the roger pirates were drawing something on a piece of paper when they figured the location) or follow them to Laugh tale (if that is possible) through being on their coattails

Yeah I think the strategy for some is just to camp out and wait for people to show up

Like Kid and Law were missing poneglyphs and instead of searching for those they went ahead, they probably expected to run into a PK contended and take it from them. Blackbeard was basically doing that
