Kid didn't defeat a Big Mom commander he only hurt him, he says so himself he just wanted to pick up a few chosen ones and now we know it was a poneglyph copy.

It was Urouge who beat Snack If Kid would have beaten a commander, Oda would have said it very clearly like Urouge I think. And then whether Kid beat a commander or not, he doesn't care he succeeded in his objective in any case.

If I beat you up and take your lunch money, you lost simple as that. Wtf is kid didn't defeat a sweet commander bullshit ? He not only injured a sweet commander but also TOOK A PONEGLYPH. THATS DEFEAT OF HIGHEST ORDER.

I guess snack is one of those dudes who brags about what he has in the bar, then gets mugged outside of his home.

Which means that Kid didn't win a fight but managed to pull off a secret upset. Doesn't contradict anything else (Brulee or Caribou) so I don't see the problem.
