Im not sure why you think these characters would have priority over new designs and highlighted vice admirals.

The Vice Admirals simply haven't been highlighted that much.

I also don't think they're on track to make it to Egghead in time to be SH matchups.

Luffy usually starts his final round against the arc antagonist after the other Strawhats have already defeated their arc opponents.

They havent been highlighted that much because they only became relevant last chapter lol.

Give it time, the first round with the arc antagonist hasnt even started yet. I think we all need to take a step back and stop expecting the crew to get away so easily.

Again why we may get multiple rounds of Luffy fighting the Admiral. Evidently he will bypass the dome, but we have no idea what happens when the shield is removed.

Again, every plan always tends to go wrong. Remember Punk Hazard? Luffy fell into a Garbage shoot at one point lol.

Your opinion on this doesnt matter, he's going to have the crew fight whomever he wants. Him "wasting" time is subjective because its his story. If he wants the crew to fight Vice Admirals and an Admiral in a localized arc (especially before they war with the larger marine force) then he'll do it

Imo I think we’ll have two localized fights:
1. The fight within the dome where Luffy fights and defeats Kizaru, Zoro and Sanji defeat Seraphim, and CP0 gets defeated
2. Then there will be the escape. Straw hats clashing with VAs, Saturn showing his power while Luffy is too weak to fight him.

I wasnt trying to be rude. You guys like to make up arbitrary rules like "Oda wont do this or that" when frankly it doesnt matter what any of us think.

If you read whats on the page, he's been highlighting the VA appearances. Thats his decision to do that, and by virtue we can assume they will have roles on the arc, at least some of them more than others

The strawhats had a full night to try and beat the seraphims, they never even managed to damage them after a full day of fighting
