Chapter Discussion So who is the guy at Elbaf waiting for them?

Silhouette (mysterious) character doesn't have any slight weight at this stage for me.
We're in end game, a far more relevant characters are already introduced and together with various end game character, they are yet to go in action in near future. Imu, Gargling, Holy knights, Rocks( flashback), Joyboy etc all these are more relevant and already introduced, and are still mysterious as this new silhouette guy.
It's like not caring about bounty reveal anymore (to general) after the biggest name are already shown.
There's a big chance this silhouette is the man with burned scar, if it is, then only one remains to be revealed, and i hope Oda don't go any more silhouette character in future. It's time for more important player (Imu, Rocks, Holy knights, etc) to show some.

Not necessarily. Putting together clues in a literary work is basic reading.
I keep hammering the nail but I predicted Nobara’s return and the exact method and general proximity if her attack on Sukuna many months ago. It wasn’t fanfic just basic middle school-level story analysis. As per the waiting silhouette on Elbaf? I dunno. Others might figure it out.

Him being a CoO specialist seems as if it would make sense and would explain how he is waiting for the crew. Likewise, similar to how Rayleigh’s role was to mentor Luffy’s haki, I can see him being the main one to help the other SHs develop theirs so as to be a fully endgame powerhouse crew with no weak links.

If we are entering the final phase, then it's gonna be Gaban.

Last is wherever the hidden island Laughtale is. It's not on the physical sea, so it has to be a new location, and whenever that happens there is always a Roger pirate there to send off the Straw Hats.

I missed something there, Could be someone Roger Pirates met in the way. Shanks call him old friend and not old crewmate may be because the person didn't voyage together. Shanks wasn't a newborn in chapter 0, they were invited by Shiki not once.
Just speculation, if Whitebeard was very close to Roger. There could be a chance Shiki also was very close to Roger and possibly their crew. I never said he is the man marked by flame. He could but didn't, I wish I have the answer.
I am leaning more towards the silhouette being a new character.
