大海賊時代、開幕以後、海賊王の座を目指す!!

Is there anyone who can accurately translate this information without bias? If you can Thank you and please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your time and effort 😊.

大海賊時代 - The Great Pirate

開幕 - the curtain rose

以後 - after

海賊王の - the Pirate King’s

座を - seat/throne

目指す - to aim for

So whoever the phrase is referring to has been aiming to become pirate king ever since the Great Pirate Era began. Could be one person, could be any number of people, just depends on context.

I’m not sure if the text and image are taken out of context so would be interesting to see the full thing.

Context matters and I have the databook in the Portuguese version, so here's the translation.

A "rookie" ready to challenge the Great Age of Pirates

Armed with the powers of the Suna Suna no Mi and an unparalleled cunning and knowledge, Crocodile, still a rookie, set sail in search of the Pirate King's throne! However, after that dream of his was destroyed, he began his search for a gigantic "Military Might".

Shortly after the start of the Great Age of Pirates, he set out in search of the Pirate King's throne!! (Your image)

"Whitebeard" is simply a synonym for "defeat". A clash from Crocodile's rookie days that left him with scars as deep as his desire for revenge...

Recruiting talent calmly and with great secrecy, Crocodile began to expand his organization...!!

"context matters" so let me translate from Japanese to Portugese to English for "better context".

Den den already translated it. It talking about a singular pirate
You have no understanding of Japanese grammar. I have N3 level of understanding, which is enough for such a basic statement. In Japanese, and English for that matter you don't always specify the number of people you are referring to.

The "mistranslation" of OP is that it doesn't say "these three" or "one day" in the raw. The text however is directly referring to all 3 of them, so as the clown who said "context matters" said, context does matter, and if the context is that the statement is directly above the text then the text is likely referring to the image...

If it was about Crocodile alone the image would be cropped. Take your L and move on, I don't count these non manga sources as gospel anyway.
Den Den Mushi said nothing confirming it being plural or singular, "Could be one person, could be any number of people, just depends on context. "
It's factual that Moria also wanted to be pirate king, and factual that Mihawk said PK is far above WSS and that he tried to measure the distance between himself and the old sick WSM.

What does trying to fight WB gotta do with PK. WB not PK.

Den den literally said whoever. Thats one person
