Oda is an old traditional Japanese man who just happen to be a sexist

Yeah sadly, there are many female characters with lots of potential but none of them will ever reach that potential and get the treatment they deserve outside of the official manga and anime, only in fan works.
Just look at how Oda has treated his strongest female character, and how an average video game such as Pirate Warriors 4 treat female characters such as Tashigi or Smoothie far far better that Oda ever will.

You won't ever find a Toph, an Azula or a Kyoshi in One Piece.

Yeah, I'm just glad that the newer series like JJK and Spy Family are giving their female characters much better characters development and are powerful in their own right.
