Character Discussion Teach’s portrayal is proof he’s Big Mom 2.0

Unlike other antagonists who got their status from the beginning, we have actually seen BB grow on screen and achieve the status.
He had been more competent because he played role in driving the plot and worked to get his dreams.
Forget endless wait to get Yami, capturing ace, ID infiltration, getting his crew member, getting gura or hunting down DFS for his entire crew or tracking down one of the SN law to get RPGs.....when WB died, his territories in NW was open for everyone.
BB seized that opportunity to get hands over them despite the presence of Kaido, BM, Shanks and WG.
People who call him incompetent or pathetic just because his fights don't get that aura of badass clearly don't understand his character portrayal.
His growth along side MC with both sharing some bigger dreams makes him an ultimate villain and not some random arc villain like doffy, BM or kaido.

He's basically the only guy known to have eaten two fruits and survived. Both fruits arguably being the strongest of their classes. And he's been around far longer than people like Kaido, Sakazuki, Imu, the Gorosei, he's even been there before Doffy. He's the reason the Marineford war happened.
Blackbeard isn't just a freakishly strong guy that Luffy has to defeat, possibly with the help of others. He's Luffy's worst and most threatening rival. And I'm certain he'll grow stronger than the Admirals, Big Mom and even Kaido.

But go on about how Teach defeating the leading SN second only to Goofy makes him worse than that shadow whose 'aura' is defined by his ability to screama and twerk to 1000 year old Joyboy haki

Stop venting out your anger about Sanji being a fodder on other characters.
Teach is built like Bigmom the tanking and dps type, but unlike Bigmom's devil fruit, his darkness ability is actually busted. He can make his enemy useless. Also we probably haven't seen his full capability yet.
He is not the secondary antagonist. People already mentioned this a lot but I will lay it out here. Nika is portrait as the Sun God the star of the solar system and also the white dwarf after it reaches the end of the life cycle. Imu is the Earth or the Moon. The Gorosei and ancient weapons represent the other 8 planets. However, Teach is neither one of them. Non of the planets associates with Blackbeard, then what is he represented? Oda gave Blackbeard the yami Devil Fruit which makes him the Blackhole, a void created after the Sun explodes and dies. Blackhole destroys everything including the Sun and all the planets in the solar system which makes him is most dangerous enemy.
I don't blame people underestimate him because they don't see capability of him, just like blackhole that you cannot see it and don't know what it can do, but when he gets closer and touches anyone, you know that person is done.

Exactly! One Piece is separated into two parts. Part 1 is the paradise and part 2 is the new world. Blackbeard stole the Garu no mi from World Strongest Man and it happens at the climax which is at the end of part 1. So I guessing he will steal another devil fruit at the end of part 2. The person he is going to steal from also has a title like "World Strongest ...." or something else like King of the world. So I think Blackbeard will steal Imu's devil fruit. Likely the same thing he did to Whitebeard. Someone else will defeat Imu, then he snatched it. I also think he will awaken it rather quickly since he is strong enough at that stage of the story.
I add, Whitebeard is called the WSM, then there should be an opposite like World Strongest Woman. Imu's honorific is a man but also portrait as a woman. What if Imu is World Strongest Okama.
