There's some chance that this is Gaban because we had in the past other Roger pirates guiding us. I don't see why Oda would bring back Shiki into the story., am i missing something with Shiki?

Gaban is a complete bloat character. There’s nothing he can accomplish that it wouldn’t make more sense for the already established Rayleigh to do. There’s zilch interesting about another Roger pirate to fanboy over Luffy and say how alike to Roger he is, and there is no reason that Gaban would be the one entrusted with some endgame role essential for the One Piece while Ray was content to bum around Saobody.

Shiki would be a bit more interesting in that he’s at least going to be an opponent, but unfortunately I fall in the area that if Oda wanted to use Shiki, he shouldn’t have let there be a movie made about him already (especially not a movie where Oda worked so closely on himself)

Should be the burned scar man instead, a new character who could potentially be the same silhouette as from Vegapunk’s “Who will get the One Piece” speech.

Crocus isn't just a Roger Pirate, He is Overseer of Lighthouse for Decades,
Almost Everyone knows him, dunno why People are so fixated on Characters related to Roger, it could be anyone,
Yorki & Roger are just Couple Examples of Pirates who befriended him, there are still many others,

There is absolutely no reason for this Character to be Gaban,
It could be Shiki because of Resemblance between Elbaph & Merveille but there is Higher Chance that He is New Character from Wano,

Shiki has told his story and has no reason to appear in the main plot line at this moment.

Gaban would fit better since this character has a good relationship with Crocus and the hair looks like his.

It's not Gaban. That retard is never going to be relevant cuz Oda doesn't give a fuck about him. Y'all really think Oda would wait over 1100 chapters to introduce Gaban when he introduced Rayleigh himself in the first 19??

Aside from you being wrong as to when Gaban first appeared, Oda waited 1000 chapters to introduce Rocks, and he's shaping up to be more important than Roger.

Roger re-discovered the OP treasure and started the pirate age to encourage the next Joy Boy, both of which are undoubtedly important history-making events.
But Rocks' actions were so dangerous as to require him being cleansed from history books. Rocks is the nega-Roger, inspiring the Blackbeards and the Caribous into taking to the sea with the aim of destabilizing the entire world order for chaos' sake, not in the name of freedom.
They're both sides of the same coin, but only one of them was made into a secret taboo himself, while every schmuck knows Roger's name.

Im just convinced its not shiki after that recent comment of oda about shiki and strong world, and I didn't see an argument against it yet here. Like he clearly seems to neither like strong world nor shikis fruit
