There's a reason why Rayleigh managing to stop Kizaru was portrayed as being a an impressive feat for Rayleigh in-story with while for Kizaru getting stalled was basically embarrassing. A character getting hyped for punching above their weight like Ray was doing in that instance.

Prime Ray is another story, but Old Ray doesn't push Kizaru past high diff, he'll collapse before that.

It definitely could happen considering Gaban was saved for a later cliffhanger than Shamrock and Loki.

He’s also more important to the arc since it literally began with his silhouette.

I think in general this fandom ain't willing to accept that Kizaru looked as good if not better against the Dark King (who had yonko Blackbeard twerk) than Kaido did against Yamato after spreading for over a decade the propaganda that this confrontation was somehow of an anti-feat.

I don’t see post Wano Snakeman losing to Big Mom/Kaido as easily as it did to Kizaru.

2)More plot relevant

But for the first point it's not impossible Kizaru would push Akainu in a several days fight if was bloodlusted, and while plot relevance is important, I don't know if that alone is enough.
Right now purely based on on-screen showings I'd bet on Kizaru.
But paradoxically I believe Kuzan will have more to show

I don't find either take (Aokiji > Kizaru/Kizaru > Aokiji) to be crazy tbh

Kuzan did it very casually in Cacao town.

Kuzan negged multiple BBP commanders, and casually took down cracker. And Kizaru never took down Marco, even when he was distracted.
