However it uses the same kanji (斬り) for “slice up” as Zoro declaration in 997.

This shows that Zoro didn’t just want to give Kaido a cut. He wanted to defeat Kaido like Wano citizens said the alliance would.

Zoro goes after Apoo (uses 360 pund canon on Apoo which is running away because he has the antidote until Zoro will one shot him probably in episode 1010 or 1011.
