What is the visual similarity between Zoro and Mihawk that says they are swordsmen just from the way they look?

Few things that I'd add, is that Brook outright refers to using his sword to put people to sleep via Devil Fruit "skill with the blade"

Against Cabaji, who uses various weapons and devices beside a sword, Zoro claimed he still can't lose as long as his opponent calls himself a swordsman

And the entire reason Kaku has 4 sword style, is because he uses his legs, which are considered swords, showing that even using your limbs or other weapons does not neccessarily disqualify it from being a swordsmanship style

Nah they find 100s of excuses to somehow say Shanks aint a Swordsman lol. Thats the funniest thing, watching them struggle to come up with excuses. Guaranteed entertainment.

Well I have never said people don't mix their abilities, I just mean they tend to have some main strenght and they're usually hyped for it.

Mihawk and Shanks are both Swords. Mihawk is the WSS. That means Mihawk is stronger. Why continue to deny manga facts?

One thing about swordsmanship in One Piece is that it seems very easy to learn how to do flying slashes....which makes guns pretty much worthless, in comparison.

What's the difference between Fujitora using his Devil Fruit powers with his Blade or without?.. None
So Fujitora's devil fruit powers with his Blade is not Swordsmanship..

Brook is using the same Word than Hyougoro is using when speaking of CoA Coating and that's '' Matou ''..
Brook is a special case where he can interact with his own soul.. It's not him directly him applying his devil fruit powers to his blade either.. He's probably mimicking an Haki ability that was not introduced yet which is CoO coating..

Law's Awakening gets a pass for being Swordsmanship..


Kaku is cap, he's like Don Krieg calling himself the Strongest man in the World.. Kaku does not become a Fourswordstyle because of his 2 legs.. Else he could call himself a Fourswordstyle user with his 2 arms and 2legs, that makes no sense..


Kizaru is not Swordsmanship because it's not a real Blade
Maser Saber is not Swordsmanship because it's a combination like Franky Docking Pirate, they are not coated or fused with Napoleon..

1.Uses ryou and cuts through kidds steel weapon


2.Chooses to not cut/scar/cleave kidd in half no visible damage is shown to kidd

That's AdCoC no touch.. You're confusing AdCoC no touching and a Swordsman's intent to not cut..

Whether Shanks want to cut Kidd or not cut Kidd, when using AdCoC it will always be no cut because it's default no touch ability for AdCoC..

The not wanting to cut when you don't want of Koshiro and Hyougoro's phylosophy don't apply when using AdCoC.. That's why AdCoC is not Swordsmanship too..

i just read the chapter and oda counts even fucking music as sword skill

this is beyond what i expected and if fucking music can be counted as sword skills then df and haki are small fries

it just further proves my point that literally anything through a sword is a sword skill
be it music , haki , df or something elemental

Let me explain something to you that you have a hard time understanding. You (reader) don't determine who are and aren't swordsmen, Oda does. Oda designed Kaku to be a 4 sword style swordsman that uses his two legs as swords so that's what he is. Plain and simple.
