Powers & Abilities The Average One Piece Fan Can't Understand Haki Because They Don't Understand Cultural Differences

Hi Worstgen,

You guys will never understand Haki because you have challenges with intercultural communication and the understanding of other societies.

Haki is a spiritually based energy that uses Eastern philosophical belief systems.

If you're Western and you don't understand Eastern philosophies and your comprehension of the story hinges on how you incorrectly interpret it then you will NEVER understand how things like Haki actually work.

Here's an obvious thing that Western readers of One Piece don't understand..

Haki is invisible. It's like the kamehameha. Even if it looks blue in the anime, it's actually an invisible form of light that most people can't see unless they have adaptations that allow them to view the electromagnetic spectrum.

Pre-ts Haki was just treated as invisible and the nuances about it weren't pronounced yet.

After the timeskip, it began to be shown in different contexts and that explains why they had changes like hardening became black. It's not always black and it doesn't have to be.

Why don't you clarify it for us so that we may understand
That presents challenges of its own because of intercultural communication.

If you tell a Western reader that Eastern philosophies are involved with Haki- they just look at you like you're crazy. They don't believe a word of it.

They each have their own personal ideas about how souls work, for example. Some of them insist souls aren't even involved. It's just "Will".

But honestly Will = Spirit I don't know how much more clear that can be to anyone.

You are by far the dumbest and most stuck up
person I have ever seen use this forum. I had to make an account just to tell you this.

Does nobody find it weird how this mental nutcase keeps trying to apply his real life beliefs to a fucking comicbook about magic pirates?

He won’t even bother to explain shit but will speak to everyone in a condescending tone about characters following cosmic law and how Haki is based on his schizophrenic philosophies.

:kriwhat:
just stfu, this stuff is NOT real and it isn’t that deep. You arent some spiritual guru because you made a headcanon about Haki that you refuse to elaborate on
