Yeah that is true! Funny you mention that is Foxy is quite clowny himself too! To think of it knowing Oda and that we have a few clown scientists too at least, I think Vegapunk will genuinely be revealed to be a clown too and to further the Wizard of Oz influences/parallels too!?

Ironically I forgot about all of this and was just thinking of the "Wizard of Oz" being seeing as a clown/charlatan/fraud or something? There are themes of accidental success and worship in OP as we saw with Usopp and Buggy and Usopp could also befitting of a clown tbh, I wouldnt be surprised if his mother or dad used to be one too!
Idk if its intentional but Oars could be written as Oz too!
