How can one engage emotionally when oda after building how wano suffered portrayed luffy enjoying his fight with kaido while laughing as if they are having friendly duel. Not to mention that no major casualty occurred in alliance.


In past oden died and wano suffered but oda really needed to have more moments like kiku losing arms.


I mean they were against kaido crew + BM after all

I just don't get how someone can think the arc is lasting that much longer when:

- Wano is already 40 chapters longer than the previous longest arc and still has 10-15 chapters of closure

- Every notable villain was defeated

- Nobody can fight and the raid failing = death for the alliance.



Expecting Oda to retread and go back on a 75 chapter raid makes absolutely zero sense. I would have agreed with Morj pre chapter 1000 that it could have been a possibility. It has not made sense in nearly 2 years now
