Look I’m gonna be honest here
Zoro using adv CoC was stupid
20 chapters ago he didn’t even knew that he has CoC
but this is not only Zoro's problem, it’s a general problem in OP
Luffy got a power up after power up because he "understood" some things and had flashbacks
Zoro too
Sanji too
It’s just stupid writing
Its like the issues with Enies lobby but much worse.
As much as I love Robins new power/form, it feels completely random with the demonic form she seemed to take? It fits how she has been portrayed/depicted in the OP world itself and it might be a deliberate nod to Kali as well as as the demon from Nightmare on Bald Mountain or w/e but it still felt so random and out of place for me?
Even Franky suddenly reveals this new plasma energy sword or w/e out of nowhere? Did he develop it during his time in Wano or just never used it before now but had it all this time since the TS? At least it seemed like that anyway? Wiki says its a regular sword slash but it felt like something like plasma energy somehow, a sort of "lightsaber" even or energy sword and thats why he could damage Sasaki in the end? Also Sasakis stomach being more vulnerable/exposed like other animals ofc but still lol.
Maybe it was just Franky using his sword normally as usual but I saw it wrong I guess?
I love Ifrit Jambe so I purposely won't criticise it but Zoro suddenly getting Advc/Infused CoC suddenly like that made no sense, unless somehow he knew/saw Mihawk do it? Idk. As you said, he didnt even know he had CoC and he even got mad/denied it when Brook though it was his CoC early on in the raid?
If I'm being brutally honest, Zoro post TS has felt more like Erza especially in this arc and not in a good way.
The worst offender is Usopp awakening CoO in Dressrosa and it never being relevant again so far.
Ironically speaking of Enies Lobby, we learned of Asura and Diable Jambe back then and we still don't have proper explanations for what they are, why they can use them. DJ could have been friction as we suspected but it doesnt explain why Sanji can ignite himself at will now, not even just his leg but whole body too? Plus his emotions/anger fuelling the flames literally too? They got compared to Kings flames but it turned out to be bait/a red herring too frustratingly.
