I think Minato is stronger than Tobirama but I definitely don't think the 8th gate "reaction" is a great argument.

That Kakashi instance is more of a feat for Kakashi, it's pretty consistent with other things he did in the war arc.

Tobirama's reaction feats aren't really anything super crazy though, Minato is just better at what Tobirama does, it's really that simple. Bijuu Minato vs Tobirama is a murderstomp though, Bijuu Minato vs Hashirama is a much more fair debate

Toss up either way since I think Tobi has a greater arsenal than Minato who is faster overall. If Minato uses SM though then he’d take it for me but IIRC he says he hasn’t practiced it in combat much so unlikely he would try it.

If we want to talk Tobi’a reaction feat then here’s one of his best since this was against SM Madara.

Might Gai's movement speed is faster than Juubi Jinchuuriki's reaction time and Minato completely shits on it. It's by far and none the best reaction feat outside of god tiers like Sasuke/Naruto.

It’s not faster than Juubi Jinchuuriki’s reaction time, Madara reacts to Gai’s initial attack every time, he was only trapped due to the air pressure Gai’s punches created, and still had reaction time to surround himself with Gudo Dama.
Madara even reacts to Night Gai, with monologue time to spare.

Are you seriously asking that question? Minato was borderline depressed after learning Tobi was Obito. Besides, Minato was directly involved in the fight against Obito while Tobirama was observing the fight from outside, so it's easy enough for him to notice what Obito did with the Gudodama, unlike Minato. That doesn't place his reactions higher than Minato by any metric.

I need reason to believe hes taking it seriously, because of the later events we see that to me indicate he's not. I'm not saying battles are decided by one shots but Tobirama should've not been hit that shishkababed if he was really comparable in any facet to madara in speed. If tobirama realized that his attacks werent doing damage, he's smart enough to know to retreat
