So which manga do you think is better bleach or one piece?
Hmm... Both are great. But based on the writing i would propably prefer Bleach. Bleach is more mature and OP just has way to many perfectly timed and fitting "coincidences" - which is very cartoony. If the plot requires something, it's gonna happen, it doesn't matter if it will cause inconsistencies or not. That got really bad in OP and the pacing aswell. Now, i can't really compare the pacing since i am reading OP weekly and Bleach was read in one go. You guys probably can say more about it.

Bleach fights > OP fights for sure tho.
Ofc both Manga have their pro's and con's, but i like them both.
OP hasn't ended yet, so will see how that goes. After OP finaly ends, it will be better to compare those 2 manga.

Well when I was reading final arc of bleach in 2015-16 bleach was much better than one piece for me on a weekly basis though it was whole cake arc.........and I was not that much into forums and all then........one piece is more fun in discussing and debating when reading on weakly basis imo reading for yourself only the pacing is the killer.........

All good :josad:

I did!
For me the best part was from the beginning of the story to the final fight with Aizen. That was just awesome!
It was kinda interesting when i finaly read the final battle against Aizen and since he was build up as the main villain at the beginning , but i stil had like 300+ something chapters to go, i was wondering what more can there be haha.

The whole Fullbringer Arc and Ichigo trying to get his powers back with the help of it was kinda meh to me. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really lead to anything since Ichigo got his pseudo Shinigami Fullbringer powers taken away anyway lol that part kinda felt like a filler, and it was done in a different way at the end anyway, a much better and more logical way imo - Some Shinigami and some of a Gotei 13 Captains giving their riatsu into the one sword, forgot the name and gave Ichigo his Shinigami powers back. They should have just done it from the beginning. Some of the Fullbringer powers were weird and random af too lol.

And then the last part of the story against the quincywas pretty good too, except that it kinda went overboard with some things and the main villain imo. Like alot of shonen manga do.
The abilities of the quincy - some of them - were more villain like than i was expecting lol. Almost non of them fought with Bows and arrows at the end, but had their own unique abilities, but that is also thanks to Yhwach. Which definetely wasn't a bad, gave everybody a more unique fighting style as when everybody would just use Bows and Arrows lol. The end fight against Yhwach was rushed imo and he was made way to overpowered. Even tho i liked that he was defeated with the help of Aizen and his hypnosis, because it would make no sense for Ichigo to defeat him solo, it didn't really made sense for me how he died from a 1 hit. If you look at his Guardians who had powers given by Yhwach, they were pretty much immortal in one way or another and Yhwach even took his powers back he gave to them, but stil died from a 1 hit? lol That was kinda weird and disappointing to be honest. The Guardians seemed much more difficult to kill than Yhwach himself. I think he was just made wayyy to overpowered and even his Guardians. Such things already guarantees rushed and bad decisions by the author. I think he wrote himself into a corner with the powerlevels at this point of the story.

Nothing really annoyed or pissed me of in the whole story except 2 things. And they reached it's peak when Ichigo was fighting Ulquiorra .
I really dislike those things in ANY story, not only Bleach.
1. That the main characters almost never killed their enemies. I really don't like that, especialy in the fight mentioned above, since the enemy literaly said a few minutes ago that he can regenrate his complete body, besides his vital organs, like brain, heart if they took damage. So when Ichigo was about to finish him off when being in his Hollow form, Ishida stopped him and said it's enough and then got stabbed by Ichigo - WHICH HE DESERVED! Ulquiorra jumped up the next second and attacked again...good thing Ichigo was just way too strong for him and was able to react and finaly defeat him, but that shows you, that you have to finish off your enemies, especialy when they can regenrate.
2. Having weak characters standing in the way.
Yes, i am talkimg about Orihime. I am not saying i disliked her character, but only the things she always does. Why does she always have to watch Ichigo fight from close up? Ichigo was struggling enough with the enemies and then you want to stand right next to them and get caught up in the fight, so he has to protect you aswell and get fucked up for that, even tho he can barely protect himself...that is so stupid and selfish of her. Weak characters should not stand close to people who are in a fight. They always end up making the fight for their friends much more difficult...
Like with the fight mentioned above, they were fighting on pillars and their attacks would cover the whole area of those pillars, but she stil said i have to be there...WHY?! For what exactly? It's so obvious you will get caught in that shit...
That shit pissed me so off...

I am talking mostly about what i didn't like that much lol, but that is because there is wayyyyy more things i liked than i disliked, so it's easier to list the things i didn't like that much. Again those things weren't bad and i didn't really dislike them, but compared to the first part of the story with Aizen i liked those things a little less. It was all stil very enjoyable. Loved the whole Bleach story!

I really liked the world building, where the powers come from, the unique abilities every Zanpakutou has and the Bankai's, the hollowfications, Quincy powers etc. etc. etc.

The fights were definetely better than OP lol

If you want to know my opinion about some specific things, you are welcome to ask, if you want ofc!^^
There is just too much talk about, don't know were to start lol.
I glad you enjoyed it! Your criticism is quite valid! Unfortunately Kubo had to end it early due to his health, otherwise I feel we would have gotten a longer final fight etc.

I was also reading bleach from 2014-2016. Honestly Bleach is a series which is best read in bulk, Kubo really indulged himself in some chapters etc.
Dedicating an entire page to with large panels of Aizen waking up and snapping his neck etc. Don't get me wrong, I love the large panels and feel that Kubo draws in such a cinematic and stylish way but he does indulge himself a lot when he could have easily solved it in a couple of panels

Well I enjoyed reading bleach weekly........its pacing is fast and the last arc is action filled........to each to their own I guess

What did you think of
Yhwach breaking Ichigo's Bankai? I personally loved it and respected the fact that kubo had the balls to do that to his main character

I didn't hate reading it weekly just had some times where I felt the pacing could have been slightly better. Its no where near as bad as one piece's pacing though, I also quite liked the final arc except for the rushed ending.
