I'm like 90% sure that Isayama was forced to change the ending and just said "fuck it" and then he went out of his way to write the worst possible ending and ruin every character. Except for Levi.
Was it really meant to end this soon? Even for how long the Rumbling was dragged out, it felt like we rushed towards the end for seemingly no reason. Also, agreed, Levi’s the only one who got a reasonable ending...

Yeah the pacing for everything is odd. We only get 4 chapters for the final battle and then 1 for the aftermath. Historia got basically no screentime, Falco didn't save Gabi like he promised Reiner, we didn't even see what happened to Ymir or the worm. I smell executive meddling. Sad that AOT's going to be remembered as that really good manga with a bad final volume.

Seems to happen to a lot of great series, AoT’s keeping some solid company with Naruto, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho...those are just the ones I remember, have to imagine there are even more. Maybe there’s a common thread here - perhaps the pressure to stick the landing grows so overwhelming for the author of a successful manga that they second guess themselves into oblivion (or listen to their meddling editors too closely) and just fumble like nobody’s business at the end. Hell, it’s harder for me to think of a series that DID end in a satisfactory manner :pepemotion:

I remember liking Dragon Ball's ending. But yeah, what is up with manga endings being shit? At least it will never happen to Berserk or Hunter x Hunter.

Wait what? Why did she kill him?
And wasn't eren's mother killed by a Titan? WTF?
Eren managed to unlock the full power of the Founding Titan, and he started the Rumbling. It would kill everyone except for the citizens of Paradis. But then it turned out he only killed 80% of them. Mikasa, Armin, Reiner and a bunch of every characters worked together to stop him and Mikasa was the one who killed him. Turns out Eren somehow manipulated the Titan to kill his mom. It adds nothing to the story and isn't even acknowledged by Armin.

He said he wanted to protect his home from the outside world. He only kills 80% of them and takes away the titan's powers. So basically he took away their only method of self defense. Also he wants to fuck his step sister and doesn't want her to be happy without him. Armin was more bothered by him being mean to Mikasa then genocide. No joke there's only like 4 bad chapters in the story and all of them are in the final arc.

WTF is that?! Lol
That went downhill pretty quickly lol
The 90+ chapters i read made the manga really good and now you are telling me things, where i think how did that even get to that lol
That's crazy...:crazwhat:

There is a slight downhill in quality around chapter 126 and then it goes to shit around 135, the first chapter of the final volume.

It peaked at 119-122 and 130-131.

You’re misunderstanding the story.
:saden:Eren died for humanities sins. Eren > Lelouch.

Eren becoming the villain was great though. It made him a great and different MC. I loved that.
What in chapter 139 happened .... I guess we talked enough about it :catcry:
I was against the rumbling and always thought that Eren would die so until 138 it was good for me but the last chapter gave Eren not justice.

The final chapter butchered every character but Gabi, Falco and Levi.

I missed it :josad: did you like the series overall?
All good :josad:

I did!
For me the best part was from the beginning of the story to the final fight with Aizen. That was just awesome!
It was kinda interesting when i finaly read the final battle against Aizen and since he was build up as the main villain at the beginning , but i stil had like 300+ something chapters to go, i was wondering what more can there be haha.

The whole Fullbringer Arc and Ichigo trying to get his powers back with the help of it was kinda meh to me. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really lead to anything since Ichigo got his pseudo Shinigami Fullbringer powers taken away anyway lol that part kinda felt like a filler, and it was done in a different way at the end anyway, a much better and more logical way imo - Some Shinigami and some of a Gotei 13 Captains giving their riatsu into the one sword, forgot the name and gave Ichigo his Shinigami powers back. They should have just done it from the beginning. Some of the Fullbringer powers were weird and random af too lol.

And then the last part of the story against the quincy was pretty good too, except that it kinda went overboard with some things and the main villain imo. Like alot of shonen manga do.
The abilities of the quincy - some of them - were more villain like than i was expecting lol. Almost non of them fought with Bows and arrows at the end, but had their own unique abilities, but that is also thanks to Yhwach. Which definetely wasn't bad, gave everybody a more unique fighting style as when everybody would just use Bows and Arrows lol. The end fight against Yhwach was rushed imo and he was made way to overpowered. Even tho i liked that he was defeated with the help of Aizen and his hypnosis, because it would make no sense for Ichigo to defeat him solo, it didn't really made sense for me how he died from a 1 hit. If you look at his Guardians who had powers given by Yhwach, they were pretty much immortal in one way or another and Yhwach even took his powers back he gave to them, but stil died from a 1 hit? lol That was kinda weird and disappointing to be honest. The Guardians seemed much more difficult to kill than Yhwach himself. I think he was just made wayyy to overpowered and even his Guardians. Such things already guarantees rushed and bad decisions by the author. I think he wrote himself into a corner with the powerlevels at this point of the story.

Nothing really annoyed or pissed me of in the whole story except for 2 things. And they reached it's peak when Ichigo was fighting Ulquiorra .
I really dislike those things in ANY story, not only Bleach.
1. That the main characters almost never killed their enemies. I really don't like that, especialy in the fight mentioned above, since the enemy literaly said a few minutes ago that he can regenrate his complete body, besides his vital organs, like brain, heart if they took damage. So when Ichigo was about to finish him off when being in his Hollow form, Ishida stopped him and said it's enough and then got stabbed by Ichigo - WHICH HE DESERVED! Ulquiorra jumped up the next second and attacked again...good thing Ichigo was just way too strong for him and was able to react and finaly defeat him, but that shows you, that you have to finish off your enemies, especialy when they can regenrate.
2. Having weak characters standing in the way.
Yes, i am talking about Orihime. I am not saying i disliked her character, but only the thing she always does. Why does she always have to watch Ichigo fight from close up? Ichigo was struggling enough with the enemies and then you want to stand right next to them and get caught up in the fight, so he has to protect you aswell and get fucked up for that, even tho he can barely protect himself...that is so stupid and selfish of her. Weak characters should not stand close to people who are in a fight. They always end up making the fight for their friends much more difficult...
Like with the fight mentioned above, they were fighting on pillars and their attacks would cover the whole area of those pillars, but she stil said i have to be there...WHY?! For what exactly? It's so obvious you will get caught in that shit...
That shit pissed me so off...

I am talking mostly about what i didn't like that much lol, but that is because there is wayyyyy more things i liked than i disliked, so it's easier to list the things i didn't like that much. Again those things weren't bad and i didn't really dislike them, but compared to the first part of the story with Aizen i liked those things a little less. It was all stil very enjoyable. Loved the whole Bleach story!

I really liked the world building, where the powers come from, the unique abilities every Zanpakutou has and the Bankai's, the hollowfications, Quincy powers etc. etc. etc.

The fights were definetely better than OP lol

If you want to know my opinion about some specific things, you are welcome to ask, if you want ofc!^^
There is just too much talk about, don't know where to start lol.
