But Zoro IS above commanders. Have you seen any commanders do that much to yonko? Like are you gonna say Marco vs Big mom was in anyway comparable to Zoro vs Kaido?

I mean, Zoro even has the advanced CoC that seasoned CoC users like Katakuri do not have… simply because commanders don’t have such powers

in every yonko crew we had insane hype over the 1st yonko commanders

katakuri had a bounty over a billion, future sight and had that invincible track record.
even the gorosei thought marco was gonna become a new yonko + all the action at marineford. even before all that, shanks wanted him to join his crew.
benn beckman literally stopped kizaru with a pistol at marineford.

and then we have king, the man that gets embarassed by raid suit sanji, gets caught off guard by izo, fails to stop zoro from going to the rooftop. dont even place king on the same level as the other yc1. he has had nothing that warrants that ~ except maybe his race but i doubt that'll be a huge thing at this point.

Anyhow, with the hints we have now it's pretty clear Zoro gets revived (assuming Vegapank's hint is legit) and the chapter has something to do with Wings (i.e. Zoro/Sanji, just Sanji, or King).

I think its a different situation tbh. We are at a point in the manga now where portrayal matters - Zoro didn't even have a bounty prior to daz bones. Zoro is now a supernova trained by Mihawk who just replicated a feat comparable to Oden AFTER exhibiting possibly the best defensive feat in the entire series.

I was not anti-king prior to the raid, but Oda has not done nearly enough to make Zoro fighting King after the rooftop not feel like a downgrade.

There's also the fact that Zoro will take 2x the hakkai pain after all of this. The consequence does not match the threat-level that King presents if this is Zoro's last act imo
