Why do you give so much shit about what people that dont like Zoro think?
I didnt expect he would be on the roof, simply because I thought it would be just Luffy, Killer and Law. With Zoro and Sanji going against King/Queen, etc.
Oda went for the New vs Old gen theme and I thought that was actually neat. Regardless of power scaling in my mind. But then....he kiiiiiiiinda threw that away to make it Luffy vs Kaido 1v1 and who knows what will happen with the Big Mom vs Kidd matchup.
Also, for something that every single thread a bunch of people would spam "ASHURA ASHURA ASHURA", I thought the payoff was REALLY underwhelming. And I legit expected him to permanently Scar Kaido since he was there on the roof.
But the scene itself was very underwhelming for me.
He did it, then just a reaction of "you have CoC too???", but the attack itself did the scar, but Kaido was just fine afterwards. Almost no effect. And, in the same chapter, we had Luffy unlocking the adv CoC attack imbue, and then send everyone away so he can solo Kaido.
Completely overshadows the moment before. I actually got pissed. I expected the scarring to be an end of chapter moment, with a little more "presence".
But, hey, if it was good for you, then it was good for you. Nothing wrong with that.

Every Non Zoro Boi thought he wasnt fighting Kaido, week after week of Zoro proving the haters wrong.
Every weekly thread is usually bashing Zoro from the same 15 people and it's fun for every Zoroboi including myself to lambaste them with the cold hard truth, it's satisfying everytime.
Zoro scarred Kaido, I personally have 0 issue with him not falling, it's a bigger win he has CoC, as he furthers himself in 1 the SvZ rivalry and puts himself in his own class.
B. It's Kaido the World Strongest Creature, some people think it's underwhelming, I personally dont and am very satisfied. I have my opinions on what Zoro will do later in the arc which is why i think Oda didnt highlight Asura that much, but that's a different discussion for a different day

On a serious note, I like Zoro. He's is my 7th favorite character in all OP. I just am not a big fan of the route taken with the character. :P
Despite Sanji being my favorite, a lot of my "liking" about this character is regarding to his relation with Zoro. The "rivalry", the gags, the bickering, them being close in power.
So it's kinda sad when things I've liked about both of them suddenly are stripped away from the story.

To take the convo else where to your other point. I think we both agree on disagree on the direction Oda took Luffy for this fight. If not, i misread your comment.
I am personally not a fan of this development where Luffy gets instilled the Power of God out of nowhere, similar to what happens with Goku. I was personally on the team fight vs Kaido train. Especially after Oda's interview regarding Luffy's future matchup with Kaido as well.
