He'll be the penultimate villain and the villain of the Laughtale or Roadstar arc (wherever they fight prior to finding the One Piece). Imu etc. will be final war villains. The BBP crew foils the Strawhats, them losing only further serves to make their growth as believable. They, like the Strawhats are getting stronger all the time.

How many times did Luffy and his crew get rekt though. Blackbeard is an unconventional villain, which makes him special. There is a reason Shanks is concerned about him and there is a reason Imu grouped Blackbeard along with Nika, Poseidon and Lily's descendant.

Am I the only one who believes BB will be the next PK? I believe the difference between BB and the other characters who wants to become PK(except Luffy ofc) is that BB will succeed. But he will fail to claim One Piece. Luffy will be the third PK and will claim One Piece.

Because they are perfect counters to Strawhats and Strawhats alone.
Every single one of them will be a perfect counter to a member of SHs that they end up facing.
Yami negating Luffy's powers, Nothingness making Zoro's firepower useless, Warping countering Usopp's sharpshooting, Diseases countering Chopper's cures and so on and on.
While they are final villains, they are not the final obstacle, Cross Guild is.

Imu is not even top 5.
Augur's "the world" is proof that BBPs are outlasting the current regime.
