Spoiler: Thoughts on finale

The heck was this finale. All this build up for Temu Soldier Boy aka Kimiko to burn the V out of Homelander and him being wasted. And as people pointed out, no scorched earth, no mass murder and mass destruction, just throwing fists in the president's office. Lol.

It’s so easy to fix this finale, just let Homelander go crazy for 10 minutes, let him kill some military dudes with the goriest deaths possible, idc. The twitter leaks were a thousand times better than this. It’s what the fans of this series want, they built up Homelander’s ascent to insanity and invincibility the entire show. He then gets a powerup, and they do nothing with it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tbh Homelander's meltdown was great. Ignoring the rest, that ending was ideal. But the lead up to the finale (entire season 5) was horrendous.

What a way to waste their carefully crafted character and Antony’s performance. Homelander is the best superhero villain in live action, ever.… if you just cut out this entire season. Only Heath Ledger’s Joker is comparable. In almost every scene, Antony’s Homelander brought out tension that no horror movie monster could even replicate. What a waste, this is why you should stick the landing. They turned him into Trump’s parody.
