Let's assume the grim reaper is real and not a hallucination.. what would the outcome be? I think there is a possible solution to this. Zoro and the reaper might come into some agreement. Like killing kaido and therefore getting a second chance to live. If the grim reaper is the real one, he will probably have some powers.

Maybe he can reverse the damage zoro took so he can move. A another possible solution is that zoro might give his beloved sword sandai kitetsu away to the grim reaper so he can live.
One thing for sure is that zoros journey didn't end in this arc. He has still something to do and thats ZKK my friends. :goyea:

If there was no plot left for zoro oda wouldn't choose the grim reaper route now would he? :goyea:
Or you guys are dramatically misunderstanding the point. There's been pretty heavy allusions to ghosts and spirits in Wano. The grim reaper literally being the spiritual form of death that's always been present when Zoro is on the verge of death could also make just as much sense if you can understand the point I'm making here

The point is, it wouldn't be about Zoro, it's about Wano

Seeing as the fire festival is taking place which is an event held to mourn/celebrate the dead, I think what we saw is a setup for Zoro to find out his connection to the Shimotsuki family (by going through a death like state). The reaper is simply there to bring Zoro face to face with his ancestors or give him a vision of something that happened in the past.

Still expecting a Brook gag though.

I think your idea is pretty cool! I have been anxiously waiting for more of Zoro's backstory for a long time.
