Questions & Mysteries The Mystery of Page One

Reasons are irrelevant though. Only means that Character statements are not necessarily meaning they will succeed in it...so extra support for my point
Nah reasons are as explains why without being contradictory. Your deliberating ignoring them and that takes away your argument.

Zoro so far did not insert why it didn't happen unlike 2 I mention. Doesn't mean they are hypocrites, but it make sense why one route is done especially out of their hands and reason it being done.

Again what would the reasons change in my post.

Post; what's character says doesn't necessarily mean they will follow through with it.

What does reasons have to do here? Did the character change course or not? That's what is important

Reasons that make sense why they did it and didn't really break their promise if another force is use on the situation. Luffy isn't done fighting with BM. He come back to defeat her and was focus on wanting beat Kaido first.

Sanji cook to save hus friends which is true. Nothing could stop BM at all and they would die. He did it and thus he cook to save his friends and everyone not because he want to treat enemy a good time.

We are not talking about breaking promises here.
We are talking about objective facts;
Character says he will do X = doesn't end up doing X.
Reasons are irrelevant here.

So did Luffy run from Big Mom? Yes
Did Sanji cook for the enemy? Yes
That's all there is to it so stop pushing some narrative which has nothing to do with my point

Wasn't that establish since debut arc? He did feed anyone. Just not really to pure evil people and that was to save everyone from BM without being BS she got away from her.

If we dissecting character to early debut than your complaining on traits that they debuted with. Just saying. Like Zoro either stupidly or stubbornly taking damage when he shouldn't or Luffy headstrong despite serious of issue without planning much sometimes.

Yes it does if it means they continue it. Will Luffy runaway next time when they have serious fight with each other? No. Will Sanji cook for evil enemy with no advantage to it unlike saving his friends with last one? Nah.

Taking one action and twisting it doesn't prove it when later they didn't do it again and those were reasons behind it.
